Kayla Fedison

Kayla grew up in Roanoke, Virginia, playing various sports, including cross country, soccer, swimming, and basketball. Her early involvement in athletics taught her valuable lessons and improved her physical abilities, sparking a lifelong passion for fitness and performance enhancement. In late middle school, she decided to focus on soccer and joined a travel team which has given her invaluable life experiences.
Today, she proudly represents Ferrum College as a member of the Women’s Soccer Team. She is pursuing a BS in Health and Human Performance with an emphasis in Exercise Science, a second major in Pre-Professional Health Sciences with minors in pre-physical therapy and psychology.

Kayla is daughter to Jim & Ellen Fedison and sister to Ryan and Kendra.  She is a graduate of Hidden Valley High School here in Roanoke.  The show Psych makes her laugh.  She doesn't have a favorite song to work out with.  Her favorite healthy meal is a salad with chicken tenders.  Her favorite dessert is strawberry pretzel salad.  She loves adventuring at Smith Mountain Lake and Carvins Cove locally.  And she loves all the workouts at Ferguson Fitness!

Her athletic journey has ignited a true passion for helping athletes move safely and effectively through strength and conditioning. She is committed to learning the latest, most researched techniques to enhance performance and prevent injuries. But more than just learning, she loves teaching athletes what she knows, aiming to be the mentor and guide she felt she was missing in her own youth sports experience.
"I believe that with the right guidance and resources, athletes can reach their full potential while minimizing the risk of injury and stress." After college, she hopes to continue her career by obtaining the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification and helping collegiate athletes excel."

Kayla is heading up our middle and high school girls Teen Athlete sessions this summer along with coaching Stronger Together sessions.
