Brittni Gills
Brittni was born and raised in New Jersey. She moved to Virginia in 2009 to attend JMU, met her husband there, and has stuck around since then! In High School she participated in Gymnastics, All Star Cheerleading, and Track & Field- throwing shot put & pole vaulting. Starting in college, she was an all star cheerleading and tumbling coach for 13 years, coaching athletes ages 1 through 18. Before she had her own children, she taught inclusive public preschool in Harrisonburg & Roanoke County. She currently teaches pre-K at Raleigh Court Presbyterian.Brittni holds a Master of Arts degree in Teaching, a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies and minors in Inclusive Early Childhood Education and Coaching Education all from James Madison University. She currently coaches our Kids Fitness & Fun classes!
She is married to husband Jamie and mom to Russell (5) and Matthew (3), a dog named Lenny and a fluffy cat named Mouse.
She is a big fan of "The Office" and loves the Tempo playlist on Amazon music for her workouts. Her favorite healthy meal is salad with chicken and lots of veggie toppings. Her favorite dessert is ice cream.
Her favorite ways to be active in our region include hiking and biking with her family on the greenway. Her favorite workouts at the studio are the DEKA sessions.

I want my children to grow up in a world that working out and making healthy choices come naturally, because it's all they've ever seen & known. "
