No, pizza isn’t the healthiest option for your meal plan but there are ways to make it healthier and delicious at the same time.  Since I don’t always love hot and spicy, I created a veggie pizza recipe as an alternative to Anthony’s buffalo chicken pizza.  I also am always looking for creative ways to get more veggies in and this is a winner.  I love salads but pizza is great too!  I used spinach, diced red onions, sliced mushrooms and roma tomatoes but you could use your favorite veggies and get creative.  There are also lots of options for good crusts as well.  Try it out and let me know what you think.  Also, I follow the 21 Day Fix meal plan and containers to use accurate portion sizes.  If you’d like more information about that simple fitness and nutrition program, click here!
