When your a trainer and have managed businesses and staff your very accustomed to creating challenges and goals for them but far too often its easy to stop challenging yourself,as I had slipped into doing. I had become comfortable with my 80%/20% diet (my way of telling myself its okay to eat 20% junkfood) I had also not really challenged myself in the gym although I have never missed more than 3 or 4 days of working out over the last 20 years I have been “skating” or taking it easier than I am capable of for the last 5 years. So when challenged by Jeff Scot Phillips and Robyn Goodpasture to take the 8lbs down challenge I knew my number was up and the training and fit food clients would be watching! To kick it off I purchased a Roanoke Valley Fit pass so I could access Adventure fitness for the group exercise (TRX + combat) and FitStudio 365 for the weights. What I found at the two locations was much, much more than the features. To start with they both have a inviting atmosphere where all staff and members make you feel welcome plus you see some intense personal and group training workouts taking place so its hard not to be motivated to train intense. As with most of our fitfood clients using FitFood and Jeff’s guidance I was down 8lbs before the end of week 1 and that really motivated me because I see our clients making that happen all the time but I needed to know it could work for me too! If your still reading and have not fell asleep yet I wanted to encourage you to talk with us on how I can hook you up with some of the finest fitness professionals I have ever worked with and if you do not live in Roanoke I can help create a checklist of things to look for when seeking out a trainer or facility. One last note, I have decided and committed to competing in the 2012 Charlotte Cup Bodybuilding show April 28. I know the team at FitStudio 365, Adventure Fitness and my friends and family have my back in preparing for the show and we will be reporting on me using our new competitor line soon to be released by FitFood! Train Hard..Stay motivated-anthony
